Zambezi Sands River Camp Reviews
“This lodge is a wonder. Rooms overlooking the Zamezi river, very private atmosphere, service is great. In addition to the Falls you can also visit the village and have a feel for the village community life as this lodge supports the local school and most of the staff comes from there. A special thank for Sydney, his smile and the sunset cruises with the occasional encounter with hippos and crocodiles- what a thrill!” – Christine D
“We long to return. 6 years now since we were last there. What a fabulous place. Wonderful location, wonderful people and what can one say about the lodges. We had the opportunity to stay in two when we were there – stunning, waking up, looking out over the river. Evening sundowners out on one of the islands and dinner under the stars. A memorable holiday and one to be repeated.” – Daniel T
“I stayed two nights at Islands of Siankaba and long to return. Everything about Siankaba is 5-stars, from the delicious cuisine to the caring service and heavenly atmosphere, to the wonderful staff. The sound of the Zambezi river lulled me to sleep each night – it was the ultimate “white noise.” I recommend the sunset cruises and a tour of the local Siankaba village to visit the school and church. The managers Mwanza and Ryan were extraordinary hosts and pay attention to every single detail! Siankaba was an incredible adventure experience and they make it very safe.” – David O
